De-saturated, little bit of sharpening and a border added.

for those confused, highlight below.

Ferrum is the Latin name for Iron. Which is number 26 in the periodic table of elements, with the chemical symbol Fe.

Camera: Canon EOS 20D
Exposure: 0.02 sec (1/50)
Aperture: f/2.8
Focal Length: 50 mm
ISO Speed: 800
Exposure Bias: 0/2 EV
Flash: Flash did not fire

Hope you like my take on it, C&C welcomed as always

Cheers,

Alun

If my memory serves me correctly, many years ago you could replace the element in an iron, it was made of a sort of brittle plastic type film in the shape of the iron.
My guess would be that it was made of Ferrum 26.

Good alternative thinking and a good entry:smashin:

Bodoman - its not the plastic stuff - its a metal (clue - between magnesium and cobolt in the periodic table) ;)

P.S. Alun - that iron doesn't look like its had much use - amazingly clean :)

Doh, the metal iron, i never did spend much time at school, its a coincidence that the irons have an element in them as well,

Nah, just a special surface on a bl***y expensive Iron, and the fact the I rarely use it as i have a tendancy to burn stuff.

All part of the plan mate:D

Thanks for the comments peeps

Clever

The angle works well.

Well composed and executed.

That's a lovely crisp image. Unusual angle and framing of the iron but it works for me :)

I understood it too. Though was quite pleased to reveal your spoiler to make sure :smashin:
