I have searched for an answer on this.

Of all the sets fed with the same feed this one looks easily the best in store, followed by the Hitachi 32PD5300.

No grain, no motion blurring. Just an excellent picture.

Anyone have any first hand knowledge of it?

(Liked the look of the Sharp but the shop in Cardiff ;) I passed had it in the window and it looked very "digital.")

    CLH,

Do you know, I wondered exactly the same thing.

I saw the Ferguson in Currys. Great looking set and commanding picture.

I'm old enough to remember the Ferguson name when it was a brand of BRG (British Radio Group) who were part of Thorn. It's not owned by the group who resurrected the Alba & Bush names and also own Goodmans and Roadstar.

I have a feeling it is owned by Thomson and the Ferguson name gives some exclusitivity to Currys.

Tip. Before you go lining Dixons/Currys pocket and really they don't need the money, consider doing what I have done. Toshiba 32WL48 with all the gismos, 8mS pixel thingeys and HDMI input. £1299 from Unbeatable. One of my better decisions!

Having previously some years ago worked for part of the Thorn group, I can confirm that Ferguson were boughht up some years ago by Thomson.....
