Hi everyone - my first post !

Just took delivery of Panasonic E65 DVD recorder last night :)

Hooked it up to my Panny AE100 using component. Colours are all wrong - yellows and flesh tones appear pinkish red ( the colour Alex Ferguson's face after the Exeter City game - just to give you an idea of the colour !).

I then tried the S-video connection and the colours are fine.

Can anyone explain what I'm doing wrong ?

    Cheers

    Hi.
Guess 1. Leads are mixed up. :suicide:
Guess 2. From what I've seen component can either by used for RGB or true component, and it's usually configurable by a menu option on both devices. Make sure both devices are set up the same.

    Good luck!...PJ

    Thanks for your reply PJTX100.

When I got home I checked the leads - there seems to be no mix up there.

I then tried to configure both the recorder and the projector. I could find no way of doing this on either device.

Can anyone suggest how I coud correct this :lease:

May be worth eliminating the lead as the potential prob, can you try an alternative lead eg using some phono to phono's...PJ
