I have a Harmony 676 and its been good up to now. I have asked Logitech to help me reorder the power on sequence of my devices. I posted my request on the 13th and have had no response thus far.

I find it annoying that I cannot get into the guts of the config to make these adjustments myself so I think I'll have to try some other remote.

    So I'm looking for ideas:

    - I prefer hard buttons, although a small LCD screen is useful.
    - I like the Harmony 676 particularly for the placement of buttons and how it feels in my hand
    - I am quite happy to program macros to get the results I want.

    What remotes might suit me?

    thanks

Have you tried phoning Harmony on their Freefone Number, rather than posting your request?

Personally, I have only used the helpline once but must admit that they were excellent, sorting out my particular problem extremely quickly.

    Worth a try.

    Cheers,

    Martin.

Too many good posts about Harmony to switch. I don't have one, but I read a lot of these posts, and I want one.

Why bother waiting for an email response when the telephone support is fantastic. FREE PHONE NUMBER :)

I've had cause to call a number of times with awkward problems and they've put me through to Canada, where they've been only to happy help. Each time, they stayed on the line until my issue was fixed.

I can only add, and agree with the phone support. They have helped me out a few times. Even to the extent of calling me  The guy stayed online for about 45 minutes too

email service can suck, but phone support is fantastic imo.
