Excellent chaps glad to see you guys getting into the spirit of the thread, we cant have the unseen heroes of triangle playing being overshadowed on this forum by mere piffly guitarists & drummers.

Ive remembered another good’un : Mike Oldfield, for services to Triangles the man should be knighted. B52s Good Stuff (a Grade A recording FWIW) has a lovely repetitive triangle riff as well, as Does the shimmering into to India Aries : Always In My Head.

Were not fussy !!! Recordings of wind chimes accpeted too. Nice one JohnG BTW.

I went to a somehwat cheesy Valentine's day recital at the Barbican a few years ago.
It was fairly obvious a large proportion of the crowd had never been to an orchestral performance before.

two things they did (when not coughing sporadically) were , rousing applause for the two floor assistants who took out the anvil after the anvil chorus and a long standing ovation for a rather sheepish triangle player emerging from the wings toting said triangle who then felt compelled to take a bow at the front of the stage much to the rest of the orchestras amusement.

The one who plays on the opening of Grace Jones' "Slave to the Rhythm!". A true master of the instrument.
