Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper in True Romance - thier one scene together - in my opinion two great actors playing brilliantly off each other. Must be one of the best scenes ever filmed...

I'm sure plenty of you will disagree though ...

first contact where the borg queen's head comes down from the ceiling to join her body.
the fast and the furious during the race where you go into the engine as though you were a drop of fuel.
aliens where you see the queen in her egg laying chamber for the first time.
I'll leave it at that because there's so many when you start to think about it !!!

Also Love the Biff Tannen / Marty Mcfly chase round Hill Valley's town square in Back to the future!

    " Manure... I hate Manure! "

    Some more personal favourites:

The House of Blue Leaves / Crazy 88 battle in Kill Bill Vol 1

Bob's Country Bunker in the Blues Bros

"GET AWAY FROM HER... YOU BITCH!!" Ripley in the Loader vs the Alien Queen in Aliens

The Oiliphant charge in LoTR - The Return of the King. When that guy with the tattoos blows the horn on the Oiliphant and you see his evil grin. That whole scene gets me going. :smashin:

Also in The Two Towers - the army of Mordor approaching the Black Gates and the horn being sounded and the gate opening scene, I just love it. :smashin:

 Hmm, i seem to have a thing about horns, don't I? :D

"Over the rainbow" and the arrival in Kanas from the Wizard of Oz. But by contrast how about the opening of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Was exhausted by the time the plane flew off!

    Hi,

Many of my fave scenes have already been mentioned, but I love the following scenes.

    HEAT - The heist/city-centre shootout!

ROBOCOP - When RoboCop remembers being human police officer Alex Murphy, and takes the "walk" through an Omni Consumer Products house (the haunting score, is awesome)

MY NEIGHBOUR TOTORO - When Mei discovers the "Dust-bunnies" and tries to catch one

BETTY BLUE - When Betty burns down Zorg's seaside villa, and/or the finale, when Zorg hears Betty's voice through the cat

A FEW GOOD MEN - Jack Nicholson and Tom Cruise have the verbal slug-out/debate over who can handle the truth

BASIC INSTINCT - That opening sequence and first murder. Nasty stuff!

AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON - The werewolf transformation scene! ("I see a Bad Moon Rising"...!)

TERMINATOR 2 - John Connor being chased by the T-1000, from the video arcade, and the ensuing motorbike and truck chase.

CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST - The finale. Depressing, moving and yet absolutely revolting all at the same time.

LA FEMME NIKITA - When Nikita takes Uncle Bob/the police officer hostage, and escape from the police station. Great music and brilliant tension-setting from Luc Besson.

A great scene from an otherwise disappointing film. Lane-splitting is hard enough without driving on the wrong side of the road.
