Just finished watching my Rocky Anthology box set and can now say that Rocky III is my favourite of the five movies. Clubber Lang is just a great opponent - hilarious :D

If I had to put them in order of what I liked the most:

    Rocky III
    Rocky I
    Rocky IV
    Rocky II
    Rocky V

So how about you? Which is your favourite? :)

(No need to post if you think Rocky movies are crap - this one's just for the fans ;))

IV and V were not good IMO. I and II and III were the best. I'd Plumb for II being my personal fav out of all of them.:) Mind you Rocky III has some excellent Lines in it. "Ding Ding":D

Rocky II ""Your a greasy fast 200 pound Italian tank. Go through 'em, run over 'em"

Rocky III ""That's very hard for a man of my intelligence to handle."
""What's your prediction for the fight?" "Prediction?" "Yes prediction." "Pain."

Rocky IV " "I see three of them out there." "Hit the one in the middle" "Right hit the one in the middle."

    Rocky II for the film.

Rocky IV for the music/atmosphere. I remember seeing it in the cinema and the sheer atmosphere and shouting/screaming from the audience was amazing. That kind of thing has never happened again in any other movie I've seen in the cinema. People were literally standing up and shouting "Kill 'em Rocky, Kill 'em" :D.

Oh and Squirrel - if you're going to go to the trouble of making a Jeremy Clarkson Avatar, the least you can do is admit it ;) :D.

I love it too :) Shame it's now deleted! Still a few stores that have some left though so it's a case of "hurry while stocks last" :)

Rocky II. I just love the bit when she comes round from the comaand tells him to win. My God! he gets his spurs on then. Makes me knackered just watching him.

And as a side note, the Rocky films seem to me to be the only films/TV progs ever to demonstrate truely extreme fitness training methods; like the back arching thing in Rocky IV in the barn! :D

Mind you, he's not really a patch on me.;) :D

You like this ''digging up old threads lark'' don't you. I can't really remember the Rocky's much, would have to watch them again.

The one with Mr T in is my fave.
