    I'm eagerly awaiting news of:

    Sir Henry at Rawlinson's End

    Where Eagles Dare

The Dream Team (NOT the TV series)

And more importantly (to me), television series such as:

    The Invaders

    Catweazle

    Captain Pugwash

    Ivor the Engine

The final 3 Ripping Yarns stories

The above was posted in the Schindlers List thread and it would appear that recycled posts have appeared in response to a recycled thread :D

It's interesting to see that at least one person can recognize his own posts being recycled.

Star Wars and Indiana Jones for me as well.

Also I'm waiting on a better version of the crow. With 5.1 instead of just surround sound.

The Horseman on the Roof (Le Hussard Sur Le Toit).
Very good film set in the 1830s in France. Love, Death, Romance, Action, Betrayal. etc...

It's on vhs, but would like to see it on dvd with some extras.

    Belle époque
Spanish revolution in the 1930s about a deserter that falls in lust/love with the 4 daughters of a man and has fun. Penelope Cruz stars in it.

My mistake - its out on dvd on spanish dvd sites

Near Dark has recently been released. If you search on the name you should find a link to a review of it.

Unlikely to be a must have for most people but I'd like 'Kiss Meets The Phantom of the Park' (1978) on DVD, preferably with the full 'alternate' versions of regular Kiss tracks that were used in the film on an isolated score.

It's already been announced for a bare bones R1 release some time before the end of the year.

Freaks is already out both sides of the pond aswell, Confucius.

    I'd like to see
Hammers Curse of the werewolf (the Ollie Reed one)
    Dust Devil
    Hardware
    Bad Boy Bubby
    The Bride Of Frank
    Codename Wildgeese
Once Upon a Time in the West
    Sir Henry at Rawlinsons End
Kung Fu from beyond the grave
    Time Slip
    Ninja vs Mafia

...erm, I could go on for ages:rolleyes:

    Thanks for the info, but:

There doesn't appear to be a R1 release date yet - I think it was pulled at the last minute.

And the R2 version appears to be 'oop'.

Still, I've got the laserdisc and a mate with a DVD-R so.....

From what I've heard the picture and sound quality wasn't much better than vhs on the UK disc, so that Freaks laser will probably be the only thing keeping your LD player running. For a while at least...;)
