Faulty Samsung tv

Hi All

I have a 49inch mu7070 which has John Lewis warranty. A third party company came out today and said the screen needs replacing. My question is how likely will they find a screen for this tv since it’s a few years old. Is it likely John will give a replacement instead ? If a replacement is given how does it work, will they give an equivalent Samsung or can they give a different brand too.

If it cannot be repaired they will supply as closest equivalent as possible to the TV you had before.
