    Hi,

My Telewest Broadband modem develped a problem after lightning last week. Can't connect to internet via RJ45cable to laptop (not picking up the network) but will work with USB port.

Laptop network port works at work and have tried with different RJ45 cable....so must be the modem ethernet port that is not working.

In this case will Virgin replace the modem and will I have to pay?

    Ta

Wouldn't have thought you'd have to pay. Just tell them it's developed a fault for some reason - I wouldn't mention the lightning ;)
