The one in an old machine pf my parents is getting really noisy, any ideas where I can get a new replacement?

Quite often if you peel off the label on the centre hub of the fan, and put a couple of drops of 3-in1 oil or similar, and put the label back, the fan will return to its former quietness. Probably won't last as long again as a new fan, but certianly cheaper :)

Otherwise, if it's a socket 370 it looks like this one will do:

    and it's dirt cheap :)

Unfortunatly its not a socket 370, its an older slot type.

Hadn't though of just changing the fan, though I'd have to replace the whole HSF:blush: Looks like any 50mm fan with a 3pin MB header will do.

    Cheers Nutcase
