Will they ever show them on CH4? maybe BBC2 can get hold of them to replace The Simpsons.

The article says that the new shows might go directly to the Cartoon Network. If that happens, the UK Cartoon Network would most likely be showing them first over here.

Cartoon network? Hardly suitable is it. I hope sky get it back and show it unedited.

I read an interview with Seth MacFarlane who said it wouldn't return unless Fox guaranteed a certain schedule. He blaimed the fading ratings on fox changing when it was shown

    Anyway great news

Considering how badly Sky chopped up the previous episodes of Family Guy, I'd much rather see it on the Cartoon Network. They are generally pretty good at putting a show on the right timeslot so that it airs as intended.

I only ever saw a few episodes on Sky but when it came out on DVD, I was hooked.

This is potentially excellent news. I just can't get enough of Family Guy!

TBH the only reason to have this on tv, particularly terrestrial tv is to get exposure to the masses. Most people have never even heard of it, which is criminal. Let's face it, it could easily be as popular as the Simpsons in this country if given half a chance.

Also given the way that Sky treated this, you'd be better off watching on DVD anyway. I mean just how non-pc can this series get.:)

I found it funny how even some bits of the dvd release were cut.

I wonder if the straight-to-DVD movie is now shelved because of this.

Or, maybe Seth Macfarlane shouldn't do any more Family Guy

I'd rather remember it for 50 brilliant episodes than see it run out of ideas and become mediocre. All good things come to an end, maybe he should walk away and come up with something new?

Deep in my heart though, if there's another 18 episodes in the offing - I wanna see 'em! I just don't wanna be disappointed.

Family guy is the best ever, and if they make more episodes I will be the happiest man alive! I just love the 'special people olympics' episode!

I've never been more sickened by a cartoon than when Peter breast fed Stewie.

    Fantastic show, Family Guy.
