Has anybody else exprerienced this album? It is one of the best albums I have heard in the last couple of years. There is such a contrast in the material on it, ranging from all out dance to chill out mood music. I have to say, I especially like the title track, No Roots, with Dido. I believe it's not the first time she has teamed up with Faithless (being the sister of the driving force behine the band, I suppose it's predictable) but a great addition to this album nonetheless.

The other three Faithless albums are pure class, i would highly recommend getting them if you like No Roots. On the first Album Reverence Dido sang on a few tracks all in return for a curry. Thats showbiz

And, like I said, she's the brother of Rollo, the bloke who started it all. That helps, I should think.

Anyway, I'll look at getting the other albums too. I don't know why but I've really liked their music for years but never bought their albums. Seems stupid now thinking about it.

I've always liked Faithless, got the 2CD versions of the albums plus a few singles, but I'm pretty indifferent to No Roots, certainly not the great album the band have made it out to be. Maybe that was spin, since they're splitting after the next tour. If you're going to venture into their past then Sunday 8pm is their finest moment, the best songwriting, yet with emotion and moments of darkness. But Reverence and Outrospective are great too. Rollo's solo album (under the moniker Dusted), When We Were Young, is also fairly decent.

I saw them at One Big Sunday in Leicester and they are indeed brilliant.

Their new live Live At Alexandra Palace DVD due soon sounds great.

I assume it will be in DD/DTS 5.1?

    Can anyone confirm this?

I've got all their CD's and tbh...No Roots hardly gets a play. I tend to prefer the alt version "Everything will be alright tomorrow"

Sunday 8pm and Reverence fight for top spot in my book.

Just get the Glstonbury DVD & play We Come One on that.

That was one of the best festival moments of my life, just awsome, the camera & editing really do capture the Faithless live gig.

As Maxxi says "If I live to be 1 million years old I will never forget that!!! That was brilliant!!!!"

    Damned right he was too!!!!

    Regards

    Gary
