Hi as the title say's, it's got the componant board in at the moment but I do have the TV Tuner & board + the speakers. I'm thinking of upgarading to HD so could do with a bit of help with a price as not to rip myself or a potential buyer off.

    Cheers, Charlie

Sorry Charlie - As I've said to a few other PWD6 owners who are thinking of upgrading...Why?!!!

There is no content unless you are into gaming and when the content does arrive it to will be expensive and probably questionable.

If you have the money and some patience, save it for when hd is truly available and accessible and with the additional money you save between now and then you may be able to afford a next generation 50" panel :)

If I had a 6 I would hold on for a while but I've got a 5 & could do with the extra inputs, that's one of the reasons for upgrading, the HD is a bonus.

I'm with UKseless1 on this one, hold out till next year! If you need an extra input or two the money you spend on a switcher now you will save waiting to buy an HD screen, the prices will likely plummit when Sky HD comes out.

Thanks for the input, I'll just hang on to it for a while & see what happens.

For what its worth I've got a 5 as well. I'm gonna wait a year or so for HD and then move the 5 to the kids playroom. I reckon it will be best value in the long run to keep geting the use from it :)
