Swipe-to-delete makes a comeback

The iOS version of the Facebook Messenger app has been given a little spruce up via an update the sees the return the ability to swipe 'n' delete and the addition of stickers.

According to the developers, users can now 'just tap a smiley to add a playful kitten or another cute critter'. Obviously Facebook's main use is to view pictures of cute cats so it seems like a natural addition.

Stickers had already been added to the base Facebook app in an update last month so it's no surprise to see them now included in the Messenger app. Just as inevitably, Facebook is allowing users to purchase 'premium' stickers, if the stock versions just aren't cutting it for you.

The update is being rolled out gradually over the next few weeks.
