I have never really been into RPGs but after seeing a few clips and read a few review i think i will give this a try. :)

I mean if i dont like it i just swap it for PES4 on the 15th, if i do then great.

Although if it takes me longer than a week to complete then maybe it'll be a waste of money as nothing will get a look in after the 15th due to PES4.

I will. Apparently, as far as RPG's go, Fable isn't too long. If, however, you branch out and explore, then it is supposed to boom in terms of enjoyment and length. Then again, my fave RPG is Planescape Torment on PC. Utterly amazing, but takes forever and a day to complete!

Going into town today to buy it - I've been secretely watching this one for 2 years...

Apart from SW:KOTOR this will be my first 'proper' RPG and I'm really looking forward to it.

Also getting this today - been watching this since xbox was launched in Europe! And from the sounds of things, it's a top notch game - not quite up there with the very very best but definitely up there.

Now just need Halo 2, Pro Evo 4 (the proper football game) and KOTOR 2 and I'm set!

Picked it up at lunch time :) Can't wait to get home :D

No Star Wars Battle front though. Apparently they made a tiny number of games.

Great game so far - but, word of warning. Saving. While on a "major" quest, you need to complete it before you can perform a "world save", otherwise you can only perform a "hero save" which does not save your progress, only your character stats.

I lost an hour of gameplay this way

Yea I have this on the way. RPGs are not my bag really but can be quite good fun providing they are not massive !

Top game, completed it for the first time as a good guy a couple of weeks ago, but now playing through to tidy up a few loose ends, and restarting to be evil....

    Couple of tips,

For curiousity, repeat the final quest and choose the option you didn't take the first time instead. Compare and contrast the endings. :)

Once completed, let ALL the credits run, takes 5-10 mins, but you need to do this....

One thing you need in this game - "Slow Time" spell. Boy, I would've been absolutely screwed without this on many an occasion :)

Finished it a couple of hours ago and loved it. It's not really that short though...

Damn, didnt let the creds roll entirely. Curses. Looks like I need to fight that final quest again.

Yep, good game, and I agree, not that short if you open all the Demon Doors or find all the keys (which I havent).

I know what you mean about time slowdown, but I also found the phisical push type spell useful.

I played this one through as a good fighter type character. I will try it next as an evil mage type. Can't see how I'll get past some of the tougher battles, but there you go.

I tried bragging the first time a few days ago...unfortunately I picked the first tough quest to do it on. It's almost impossible to do in my underwear. Anyone know how I can restart the quest without bragging?

This has nothing to do with the plot, so no spoilers per se, but has anyone managed to get that sword out of the stone?

    took this from gamefaqs:

Getting the sword in the stone:

Either you need to have your Physique, Health, and Toughness statistics maxed or they need to be up majorly from the first time you tried to pull the
sword. Physique needs to be up five, Health two, and Toughness three.
