wish it was out soon, but play have it listed as 30th May 2008. thats 4+ months away. not counting the inevitable delay that will no doubt be announced.

for what its worth I will probably get it, unless it is a turkey, as I really enjoyed the first one.

I'm always a nicer person in these games than I am in real life. Maybe it's a guilt thing ;)

I played Fable to death. I can't wait for nr 2 to come out. If it's anything like the 1st game it's going to be awesome.

Never played the first one, no Xbox at the time and seemed short at only two hours completion time, but looking forwards to playing with my dog etc in Fable 2, teh Mrs might like it too.

Funny how not many people are admitting to being evil, i like to play "as myself" and see what the devs think i am as a person, then if the game's good play pure good/bad as well. Played Mass Effect multiple times, but RPGs are few and far between nowadays.

A lot of people missed the point with Fable, you had to kick your feet up, live in the world and take it easy. My 1st save file was up to 70 Hrs and was the Original Fable not The Lost Chapters.

You can't possible look at those times as guide to gameplay, according to that theory GTA III must be a terrible game because you can finish it in less that an hour and a half.

The only get from a game the effort you are willing to put into it.

Fable was a cracking game, it was a bit short, but I still managed to get almost 20 hours worth out of it and felt I'd rushed it a bit.

Maybe i should have added a winky up there ;) Yeah i know those are speed-runs / attempting to "complete" a game as fast as possible, and using any glitches you can find.

Spent 200 hours on Oblivion, and not finished it 100%, so i know about taking it easy. Does make me laugh when people go on about long/short games without any comment on how good that experience is; Blue Dragon is long but could be compressed and not worse off, Halo 3 was short and really needed more time to explain things.

I cannot wait for Fable 2, it's looking rather good from the videos i've seen.
I've been playing Fable on my xbox 360 in recent weeks and it is a fun game. But you do have to get into the world to get the best out of it.
As for a release date -
End of September or early October methinks.

I pre-ordered Fable 2 from Amazon just after Christmas, and the estimated despatch date was May 2008. I've just had an email from them saying it is now December 5th to December 12th 2008.
    I've cancelled the order.
Why is it taking them so long to produce this game? It better be good when it finally gets here...

I heard from an insider that the dog's AI was so real it ran away, and they had to recode a more stupid replacement ;)

I too hope Molyneux pulls out a stonker, rather than one of his more flawed-genius games (eg: Black & White).

So if you're playing co-op, can one player get the other pregnant? ;) I foresee another "FOX News Outrage Special" :rotfl:
