Just read the Sky Magazine which does not list the FA Cup Final as being in HD - can anyone confirm one way or the other?

    Thanks!

Let's hope that the Champions League final is on Sky HD (or Sky SD for that matter) after tonight's pathetic attempt at a decent PQ by ITV. I think they must deliberately show a poor picture because when you compare the half-time adverts the PQ goes up significantly. The game just looked a blurred mess.

To above, it is. The final is compulsory to be in HD.

Sorry to state the obvious but how :censored: annoying that Liverpool v Chelsea is not in HD because on ITV and Milan v Utd not in HD because in Italy. It should be law that HD rights are seperate so if ITV won't show in HD, Sky can but ONLY in HD to subscribers.

The Milan - United game won't be in HD because Sky Italia who provide HD coverage from Italy are not the Host broadcaster. Rai are and they only broadcast 4:3SD . Which is a bummer.

If the Host broadcaster are using HD or widescreen( like in germany) Sky sports will get it.

I'll be watching it on SKY:

    SPORT: FA Cup Final
    On: Sky Sports HD (408)
    Date: Saturday 19th May 2007
Time: 14:00 to 17:30 (3 hours and 30 minutes long)

Chelsea and Manchester United go head-to-head at Wembley to get their hands on the FA Cup. Both sides have ambitions of multiple titles this year, but only one can emerge victorious here.
    (Widescreen, High Definition, Live)

off topic a little but the sky magazine has stared that the champions league final
will be shown in hd. i assume that they will be taking out their own cameras and not relying on the greek host broadcasters.
