some crt projectors like to see an input voltage in a range of 0 - 1 v peak to peak on the RGB circuit. And as most if not all new electonics equipment outputs 0 - 0.7 v peak to peak on the RGB. the Extron 202xi can increase this voltage to compensate for the diffrence and allow the full light output of the projector to be used.

it can also be used to compensate for the voltage drop associated with very long cable runs of rgb and sync. i'm not sur of the cable run lenght it can compensate for but its a long way (many hundreds of feet).

the unit also has other adjustments that apply to differing sync types and has a picture centering feature.

I do have 10M Power and BNC cable runs to the PJ and this could be ideal for me...

However,

I just can't find out enough about this to see whether it would further benefit my CRT/Scaler setup. I'll pass and let BXD make you an offer.

I may kick myself for this later but don't want to hold up a potential sale for you.

From your initial post, it sounded if you were shipping the unit from outside the UK.

Looking at the spec sheets, Barco projectors seem to be set up to handle 0.7v rather than 1v pp, so it may well be that you wouldn't need anything like the extron.
