I need to buy a cable to connect my DAB tuner to the aerial socket box in my living room. I need an F-PLug at one end (for the socket box) and a BNC connector at the other (for the tuner). I can't find anywhere to buy this kind of lead - any suggestions?

    Regards

    Rob

Try an adapter, not a cable. www.conrad.com or Maplin in the UK ...

This is the kind of cable your loacl dealer should be able to sort out. We had a few people coming in and you can knock them up in a few minutes with the relevent plugs and a bit of CT100.

We threw in adapters for DAB tuners that used BNC's when people bought them from us, easiest solution.

Thanks for the advice. I would try and make a cable like this but my soldering skills are probably not up to it. Are you aware of any idiot's guides on the web which show how best to solder a range of different cables and connectors?

    Regards

    Rob
