    Hi Boris

I downloaded the test tones in 2 hz steps from 10hz thru to 100hz, unfortunately a few havent downloaded properly so they are missing.

The test tones were played back at -20db on my master volume (Denon) and Digital sound meter set at C-Weighting Slow.

For your reference the system is balanced to 75db via AVIA which equates to -13db on the Volume level.

    Here are the raw results.

    10hz - 83db
    12hz - 84db
    14hz - 83db
    20hz - 88db
    22hz - 88db
    24hz - 84db
    26hz - 86db
    28hz - 88db
    30hz - 89db
    32hz - 91db
    34hz - 91db
    40hz - 92db
    42hz - 91db
    44hz - 91db
    46hz - 92db
    48hz - 91db
    50hz - 91db
    52hz - 89db
    54hz - 90db
    60hz - 92db
    62hz - 90db
    64hz - 88db
    66hz - 86db
    68hz - 87db

I dont think it looks TOO bad but what are your thoughts??

    cheers
    Jase

Jase, cancel your BFD order. :)

    That's very flat. It's just about +/-2dB.
You're getting some great room gain under 30Hz.
    No peaks or nulls.

Seriously, I wouldn't bother with the BFD.

Check all the way upto the crossover point though.

    Cheers
    Boris

    :D

Excellent!! The BFD order was about to be processed so I´ve cancelled it now, bit of shame for the company as they were very quick to respond (and the only one of four!!).

I´ll download the remaining frequencies up to 80hz (my crossover) & see what results I get.

To be honest the sub sounds pretty good anyway (considering my "room"!!;) )

    cheers Boris!!

Jase, out of interest, where did you download the tones from?
I tried generating tones and burning a test disc but it didn't seem to work properly.

    Cheers,
    Liam

Just right click on each tone and save to whatever file you want.

MP3 format. I downloaded at work, copied across to home via a Zip drive and burnt them onto CDR.

Jase, I hope you don't find this question insulting but you did take those measurements at the listening position, yes?

    Cheers
