Eyes too sensitive for plasma :(

A bit gutted tbh, bought a Panasonic tx-p46s20b, lovely picture, smooth playback etc, only... i have just found out I am highly sensitive to phosphor trails (probably due to staring a computer monitor all my life). It didn't occur to me when buying a plasma that this would be an issue. It's really noticeable and sometimes looks like a green and yellow disco on the screen, sometimes not noticeable at all, but when it happens it's really off putting.

Also got a sony lcd 32" upstairs, so yanked out the ps3 to try the same film (Terminator 4 for what it's worth) on that tv and no trails, lights on and off, moved closer and further away etc.

I don't suppose something as simple as a firmware update would solve the problem? (I highly doubt this, but you never know)

So what LCD (pref 46") will give me the same quality as the tx-p46s20b (assuming I am sensitive to all plasmas... I don't have the time or money to keep testing out individual models, so LCD it is).

Id say the samsung C650 should be comparable. There many reviews lying around for that model, or an equvalent Sony would do it.

If you want LED back lit LG has great local dimming LED TVs.
