Just out, Kris Nosovelic (Nirvanas ex bass player), Kirk Curtwood out of the Meat Puppets and the drummer from Sublime.

Nice album, not a grunge in sight, more new country with a bid of the Syd Barretts and REM thrown in even a bit of Fripp inspired guitar in parts, thats not a copy its just to give an idea of the sounds you will hear.

Everything works and the whole thing bounds along enthusiastically, reminding me of the QOTSA album. Must annoy the grunge fraternity no end, "what are they doing now man, thats country and western dood:D

Its nice and fresh, with great guitar playing reminiscent of the Stone Roses in parts and well paced economical drumming.

Luvley Jublee, first nomination for album of the year methinks, well thats if the Sugarbabes, Blue or Will Young dont get there first:rolleyes:

I have the Datsuns, which is good. QOTSA think Ive given them more than enough praise and Killswitch.....not sure about them and I know what you mean about half an hour at a time.

Do a mini review on the others, give us an idea of the style of music and how good it is.
