I think the issue with the Netflix/Sky confusion has been caused by the majority of trailer watching being done on YouTube, where the US version is more likely to surface.

There are other examples of a "Netflix Original" being distributed by Sky in the UK (Anon, for example) but they've not had as much press as this has.
