    HI,

Got slightly warm in the cinema last night and feel the need to stick an extractor fan on the wall. I've found one by Vent Axia: VASF100B and just wondering can extractor fans be wired to a plug in a normal socket? Don't want this be wired to the light switch for obvious reasons.

    cheers

I'm afraid not - the installation instructions insist fan is to be connected to fixed wiring only (and it insists on installing an isolator switch too).
