Got my new Mac Mini today and just in the process of setting up all my software etc.

I'm currently using my Logitech MX518 mouse that has two extra buttons by my thumb which I usually use to go back and forth pages in Firefox. However, I noticed that there are no drivers for the mouse for OSX.

So my question is, is there any way to get the mini to recognise the extra two buttons on my mouse. I have had a look in system preferences and couldn't see an option to enable [mouse buttons 4 + 5]?

Cheers...

you tried any other logitech drivers? they seem fairly generic. I don't know the overall point though -i.e does a mac support that many buttons on a mouse?

edit: The 530S from logitech has forward/back buttons, so it must support it. Try the logitech software here: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/433/158&cl=gb,en

BTW, strange that the 530S for mac requires a USB dongle and doesn't just use the built-in bluetooth..
