External Multi Region Blu Ray Player

Hi,

I'm looking to buy an external blu ray player for my 2015 Macbook Pro to connect via a USB 3.0 port. I want to use this to watch blu rays and read/burn dvds and cds. I would also like to find a model which can easily be made region free. Does such a model exist and would you recommend any particular one?

None exist afaik - you'd need to find out that could be reflashed as MR, but that would more than likely void the warranty.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not too bothered about voiding the warranty tbh. Does anyone know which models can be reflashed as
MR? There's limited info online for external USB Blu Ray Players.
