Hello all, I'm looking for some help. I want to know if I can hook up an external hard drive like a seagate to the xbox 360 via USB so i can play my movie, music. And pics collection ?

Yes mate you can although the drive needs to be FAT32 for the 360 to recognize it.

I have 2 partitions on my external hdd, a 15gb fat32 for the xbox and the rest is storage. This allows me to still stream to the 360 and take films to watch at a mates house.

The drive can be HFS+ as well that is used on Macs. This allows large single file sizes unlike FAT32
