External Graphics Card to Laptop

Hi,

Basically, I want to fit an Nvidia graphics card externally to my Dell 1564 laptop.

The intergrated graphics card is awful and without spending tons of cash I decided this was the best thing to do.

I know it can be done and I have a tutorial for it, I just wondered if anybody had done this before, not just to a Dell but to any laptop.

If so how did it go? Anything I should watch out for when doing this, and what were the results like? Worth doing?

Cheers.

I wouldn't have thought so, external graphics cards have never really got off the ground and the one or two that have gotten to market have often been for specific laptops and only sold in small numbers.

Perhaps you mean an internal but discrete graphics card?
