External Drive only for movies?

I've just bought a Sumvision Cyclone 3 and want an external hard drive to use solely for storing films on, to use with it.

I'm looking at a 1T or 2T size but am unsure about the 5900 rpm / 7200 rpm specs. Does it make a difference for film watching?

Any recommendations please?

That depends on how many you want to watch at once, for a single one no (blu-ray is around a tenth of the speed of a 5900rpm drive).
