I have an M3 portable 1T external drive and a Macbook Pro late 2011 running El Capitan. I disconnected the M3 by mistake manually and now it does not show on Finder or in Disc Utility. It does, however, show on Device Manager (about apple - system report - USB). My other Samsung 3T drive works as does my Seagate 2T drive. The M3 does not show on my wife's Macbook either. So, I guess I've done something to the drive. Can anyone give me advice (1) how to get it recognised again on my Macbook or (2) enable me to reformat it if it's not appearing on Disc Utility?
    Any advice most welcome!
    Brendan
