    Hi all,

I'm looking for an external drive case that houses 1 x 3.5" and 1 x 5.25" bays. Needs to be able to connect to a laptop via USB.

Do any of these exist ?

    Thanks,

    Richie.

    Hi,

have a look at this and see if it will do what you want

its usb 2 only but seems to based around 5 1/4 inch bays but says you can fit 3.5 inch drives if you use a removable 5 1/4 rack. depending on the amount of mod you want to make you may be able to fasion some brackets or purchase some that convert 5 1/4 to 3.5, certainly a lot of the hard disk enclosures for silencing harddisks mean you ahve to use 5 1/4 mounts.

    Hi Derek,

Thanks for that but not quite what I wanted. I was looking for something around the size of a DVD player that would fit a 3.5" and 5.25" side by side.

    Thanks again,

    Richie.
