    Hey All,

So my dad has asked me to post this question to see if you guys can help :)

"I have a caravan in Lincolnshire, and i am able to access the internet via BT Wi Fi or BT with Fon by way of a Yagi antenna on the caravan roof.

The antenna cable is screwed into a Wireless Usb Adapter in the caravan and this adapter is then plugged in to my Mac Book Pro via usb.

It would be great to have a setup where i dont have to have the connector permanently attached to the laptop to access the internet so is there some way (and some kind of device) that would enable me to attach the external aerial to some kind of wireless convertor that would allow me to access the internet from any room in the caravan?

Any help would be most welcome".

    Thanks in advance all

You are looking to create a wireless hotspot. Do you have an old netbook or laptop that might do?

Unfortunately not he just has his macbook pro.

I wondered if there was such a thing as a router or modem which takes USB in rather than the phone connection thingy?
