Extension phone socket problem

Recently had Sky HD multiroom installed and discovered that my telephone extension socket apparently isnt working. I took a look at the wiring between the master socket and the extension socket: the master socket has blue/white (2), orange (3) and white/blue (5). The extension socket has blue/white (2) and white/blue (5). Initially I got a dialtone on the phone, but after about 5 seconds it went dead. Is it wired correctly? Can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix the problem please?

It is correct, 2 & 5 are all you need.

Make sure you that the telephone socket is not plugged into the ethernet port on your Sky Box.

On some of them, they are close together.
