extending sky hd cable

    Will my pq drop if i extend my sky cable as i need to extend the cable about 2 metres to the other side of the room plus when i had hd installed the engineer did not replace the cable so am i right in thinking that i just need to get some sky+ cable and join them up anybody done this or know about this thanks.

    just get two lenths of ct100 two f-type females four
    f-type males

    you can get that all from maplin

    And as long as you have a good satellite
    signal you shouldnt lose much from a 2m
    extension

    And by the way your satellite signal level
    will have no affect on picture quality unless the
    signal get's that low that the box cant cope
