Extending Mediaportal

Has anyone managed to extend mediaportal?

I have a main pc upstairs and want to run it to the living room using high speed homeplugs.

I am willing to buy a media centre extender, but I have heard they only work with WMC.

Anyone got any ideas?

u need another pc for that... it isn't really extending like vmc its mainly a case of setting up certain folders to share across a network... except for tv which can be streamed from your main pc to any other pcs on your network... tbh I would just get or if you really want to build a mini-itx pc which will be nice and small for under the tv... I would personally go for an acer revo or one of those eeebox thingies... cheap and will work perfectly
