Extending an RCA connection?

I have a right angle adaptor on the end of an RCA cable which is cemented in place.

The right angle adaptor attaches to the inside of 7.1 speaker plate, there are two rca sockets it could potentially use, except that it's too long for one and too short for the other!

The attached image shows the adaptor I have, so I'm either looking for one with a longer 'socket' body. Or another way to extend the rca, by no more than half an inch.

Anyone got a brainwave?
