    Hi,
I'm planning on buying a Panny TH37PV500 and pedestal stand in the next few weeks and at the moment I'm not sure which is the better option.

I can get the plasma and stand from John Lewis for £2350 which is free delivery and includes a 5yr guarantee.
The same package is £1950 from Discount Electrical UK with delivery but a 1yr guarantee.

What I was wondering was if Panasonic do an extended warrenty and the price of it if so?

    Martin

AVsales do extended warranties on plasmas, starting at £129 for an extra year to £389 for an extra 4 years.

Still deciding which if any to get myself.

Thanks. Looking at that there isn't much different in overall price.

I have seen it mentioned that the Sale of Goods Act should cover it anyway, as a £2000 TV should be reasonably expected to last at least 5years, not sure whether to risk the SOGA or cover my bases with the extended cover.

I would love to but my nearest John Lewis is in the Trafford Centre (Manchester area) and they will only price match within a certain radius :thumbsdow
