Extended warranty

    Received Barclaycard leaflet yesterday
    Surprised to find that an extra year's warranty is given to purchases bought with card up to value of £500.

    In excess of £500 - 2 years extra warranty given. Good news for the expensive and Plasma purchaserconsidering the limited availability of reasonably priced warranties for these expensive items.

    The 60 Day price guarantee is also given for purchase from retail outlet.

    Sadly, plasma and lcd are excluded I believe.

    Just rang The Barcaycard Guarantee number.

    "Sorry we dont cover Plasmas, LCD or Projector"

    "Why dont you say that in the literature /"
