Has anyone successfully recorded from the Ext3 port on a 32PF9976 ?
I have a fully-wired scart cable from a Philips VHS to Ext3 and I can playback video tape via cvbs. However, if I try to record using Ext3 (either from the internal tuner, or another external source such as Ext1/2) the recorder appears to receive no cvbs signal. Both the VHS recorder and the cable are known to work when connected elsewhere.

The Philips website suggests Ext3 is good for input and output, so I'm wondering if this is a fault on my 32PF9976 ?

Philips tech support have advised me that Ext3 is an input-only connection.
