I know sky do a money back 30 day thing for new customers.

I watched the Everton match on ITV HD yesterday with a bush box, it is the first (Non xbox360) HD thing I have watched on my 50" Pioneer XDE and I have to say, I was very impressed.

So today, I have ordered online the SKY HD box.

Currently using a standard sky and tivo combination.

I was depressed to see the freesat box attempt at SD, it was shocking.. I mean really shocking...

If the SKY HD attempts at displaying SD are the same and no better than the standard SD box, it will be going back...

As a upgrade, can I cancel the SKY HD within 30 days like new customers????

It is the same on SKYHD mate, same satellite, same transmission, same poor ITV Outside broadcast. Freesat and SKY, SKY+ and SKYHD get their input from the same source, same channels.
BUT, I have not watched a BUSH HD box, only Humax HDPVR and SKYHD.

Yep, but standard sky on my standard sky box is acceptable.

The freesat sd images on the bush are shocking.

I would hope the images from the SkyHD box showing SD will be the same or better than a standard Sky box?

What Hi-Fi report on the Humax Foxsat HDR.

    Finest Freesat images we've seen
The quality of the picture is equally impressive. To cut to the chase, it's the best Freesat tuner we've seen. Standard-definition channels reveal plenty of detail, a balanced colour palette and a punchy image.

Recordings are faithful, too, delivering nigh-on identical versions of HD and SD content. Talking of HD, the BBC HD image looks every bit the step up in quality that we'd expect – making the limited amount of content currently available even more disappointing. We can only hope that this improves soon.
