Explanation of picture processing features (Colour optimization, Dynamic Contrast, Contrast Mode, etc)

I see it's common to turn off all of the picture processing features in the settings i find online. I guess this is related to image fidelity.
However, i'm not sure if i dislike them. In particular i find interesting Dynamic Contrast and colour optimization.

1- Disabling all of these settings, doesn't mean to turn off one of the key features of these Philips tvs? (i mean, the well marketed P5 processor)
2- Could someone explain me what these features do? (Colour optimization, Dynamic Contrast, Contrast Mode, etc)

(I have 58PUS8555)

The only picture filter you need to be careful with is dynamic contrast, which must be preferably in off or minimum setting. Any other filters , you can easily experiment with.

Dynamic contrast is not very good feature. It can be substituted with some Backlight contrast Brightness and video contrast adjustments
