Just had an email from Sainsburys to say that my copy of the Dirty Harry set has been despatched. I was out earlier and the postman delivered my copy of The Last Stand (with slipcase!) and tried to deliver a parcel that was too big to fit through the letterbox. It was probably my Dirty Harry set.

Received my Man Of Steel 3D Steelbook - at first I thought it had a scratch but luckily it was only the cellophane and not actually touched the case! (Phew!)

They seem to have Jaws for £4 at the moment. Hell of a bargain for an amazing blu ray.

For those who still collect, some great prices there.

    The Purge - £6
    Zero Dark Thirty - £6
    Inglorious Basterds - £4
In The Name Of The Father - £5

It's definitely worth keeping an eye on this daily.

My Dirty Harry set arrived yesterday. The packaging is as tacky as hell (five discs contained in two standard cases held in a flimsy slipcase), but for eight quid, you can't argue.

Yep, shockingly tacky. I have the big US set but it is such a faff on to open it that I got this set to sit alongside it

My Mad Max set just arrived. Not the phat Amaray case I was expecting. Three separate regular ones in a slipcase. Nice :)

I would rather have my DH taking up 2 case width like my Seagal collection rather than my DH 5 case set. That was £18 too.

Just had to return a steelbook to Sainsburys as it has a huge slash on the back of the case that I didn't notice before.

Shame theyre finishing selling physical product - I had an email back with 2 minutes with a Freepost address to send it to etc. That's Amazon-like service. It actually came in Amazon type packaging too so must have been damaged before it was sent.

Yeah big shame - they're easier to use for returns too as you don't have to do Collect+ and can just pop it in the post box. They also set up a replacement order straight away if it's in stock. Shame they'll be going - their packaging is excellent of recent, I got my Scorsese World Cinema Foundation boxset (an incredible bargain price of £4!) the other day and was worried it'd be damaged...turned up completely mint, in Amazon-style packaging. Very, very, very happy!

    Also got these recently:
    Sleep Tight - £4
Life Of Pi (Sainsbury's Exclusive with Bonus DVD & Alternate Artwork) - £8
Invasion of the Bodysnatchers (Steelbook) - £8
Silence Of The Lambs (Steelbook) - £6
The Last Of The Mohicans - £5
The Complete Films of Sadao Yamanaka (DVD) - £3
    Kuroneko - £6
    Dragon - £4

    Nice!

If your not fast, the HUKD crew will gobble it up!

Seriously, the link needs checked at least twice a day to see if anything new is added. Always seems to be something new added daily....

Guys do you think its worth getting the "Indiana Jones" blu-ray complete set now at £22. I've been in two minds whether to get it or not given that it is the cheapest so far, and other sites are selling it at considerably more. The only thing that's stopping me is that whenever I buy something like this (especially Paramount films) after a while, ok quite a while, the price eventualy goes down even further which always niggles me. Having said that at £22 that works out at £4.40 per disc which includes the extras disc. What do you think?

I mention this because the "Back To The Future" and the "Jurassic Park" BD trilogy's as others have lowered in price after i've bought the bl**dy things. :lesson:

It was £20 ish on Amazon for ages recently but I'm sure I've seen it cheaper so I didn't go for it and its now £50.

Just bite the bullet and get it if it's a price you like. Most thing's eventually drop in price and that is the price you pay for wanting to have a collection.
Most likely it will sit on your shelf gathering dust anyhow ;)

Personally I think £22 is a good price but it depends how quickly / much you want it. I bought it on release because I really wanted to watch the new releases and had a good weekend watching them with my son, so even though the price has gone down recently it was still worth the release price for me

It's worth weighing up how much it could go down by vs how much it could go up by too, I'd say it could go down to about £15 but once Sainsbury's have gone you could be looking at £40+ elswhere

The Star Wars collection has failed to drop in price and like the Indy Trilogy it too is a Lucasfilm title, that might give you food for thought as to whether £22 is a good price
