I can get a Canon LV-7105 for the same price as a Panny PT-AE100 in Norway.

The Canon is XGA and accepts 575p. Would this be a better buy than the Panny? It's a clone of the Sanyo PLC-XW15 although the casing looks a little different.

The Epson EMP-70 is only £200,- more expensive. It too accepts 575p according to the retailer.

The only obvious advantage the Canon/Epson will have is the higher resolution and (probably) less screendoor. The noise level of both is considerably higher at 39db/42db respectively compared to 30db on the Panny.
