I have a Belkin cable wi-fi router connected to my broadband modem.
Through the Belkin I have the Pc, Printer in the study a third Ethernet cable goes to the lounge and an xbox360.

Would it be possible to attach a switch/hub to the Ethernet cable in the lounge and so be able link the xbox360, media streamer and satellite box?:lease:

yes - just get one with auto-sensing ports (most of them these days) something like a Netgear FS108 (10/100) will do or GS108 (1Gbps - but wasted as the router will be 10/100)

In post 2 i didnt get why it would be wasted?

Am running a 24 port linksys switch 10/100/1000 and have all my computers connected to it and they are all running at 1gbps. So are the other pc's connected to the other 24 port Linksys switch.
