Had one last week, came home Thursday from hospital, how soon & what kind of exercise can I do ?

I have a rowing machine at home but was told not to use it yet.

Generally unfit 61 yr old bloke.

    Many thanks.

I would talk to your doctor and/or heart specialist. No one on here will be able to tell you when and what training you can do without knowing your history and extent of your medical issue. I would suggest you should do nothing strenuous for some time and should start with some walking etc. first.

Have you been referred to or already been seen by cardiac rehab team?

This is medical advice, afraid it is best to ask a professional.

Anybody here trying to give advice will probably do more harm than good. Let the medical teams who know ALL of your details and health implications advise you :)

As above, I'm afraid we couldn't let anyone advise you on what to do at this stage. Once your medical team have advised you on what you should be doing it's a different matter and the guys on here may be able to help with specific advise based on what you are allowed to do.
