    Howdy,

I am trying to run a DVD player through the AUX/VCR scart connector on my Amstrad Sky Box (DRX400). The picture is there, but in the black borders there is excessive red bleed, more prominent when the scene has white near the edges.

I have tried plugging the DVD player into the TV direct and all is fine. I also tried going through the VCR scart on my Pace Sky+ box and it was also fine.

The only things I can think of are a). Use better scart cables. b). Moan to Sky that the Amstrad box is bad - ideally a Pace would be nice.

    Any ideas?

    Ta.

I have sorted it out. I was going through the AV2 on the TV, Switched to AV1 and all is fine. Wierd.
