I have been suprised that the 3 discs I have most recently purchased have all been EX flagged.

Die Another Day (oh dear!) R2
    Harry Potter 2. R2
Lord Of the Rings Two Towers. R2

Anyone know of any others in the recent(ish) releases that are also flagged?

Yep - defo flagged. Funny thing is, the dts track on Atlantis is not extended - just plain vanilla 5.1.

Atlantis r1 is matrixed, but not flagged. One of few discs to have the DD ex flag, and one of the few not to have the dts es flags.

Is there a definitive list of EX discs anywhere?

    This and this
For the dts es discs, go to www.dtstech.com and download the pdf file which list ALL dts DVD's and marks the es matrix ones * and the es discrete ones **.

According to this list here (very big file to download BTW - pdf), Atlantis IS NOT in the extended format in dts...
I actually thought this was common knowledge amongst videophiles...Disney boobed by including the Dolby EX track but NOT the dts es one...

I am pretty sure the list is wrong and only includes flagged discs.

    From dvdfile:

Gary Rydstrom was the sound designer and he mastered the film in 6.1 for the theatres, so the 5.1 is going to have the matrixed rear effects channel, flagged or not.
