The Sharps a good panel but I wouldn't think this is such a good price
    for a discontinued line.

I'm sure I saw a brand new one advertised for fifty pound more.

This is a very good price....the best I could find was £970. I wanted a GA3E and eventually found one for £1035 which I got.

Discontinued line maybe...but the "newer" model (GA5E) hasbeen "newted" by having the DVI connection removed. The GA3E and GA4E are based on exactly the same screen but they are HD compatible.

In summary jump at this offer.....if you can satisfy yourself that it hasn't had too many hours already under its belt on display.

I would rather pay fifty + pound more for a brand new set
    just a personal preference .

as you said ''if you can satisfy yourself that it hasn't had
too many hours already under its belt on display''.

It's probably sold by now anyway.

It wasn't at 4pm today - and it was only 1 hour before closing. The assistant said it had only just been marked down. As for how long it would have been on for, who knows - but you've got a 5 year warranty with it!

    Hi t1nt1n,

5 year warranty is excellent, that would certainly make me think twice
    about purchasing .

Yes indeed, you would have to check it applied to ex display models. I myself am waiting for the next generation in July.
