I bought these following kiddie titles to try out on my new DVD player: Shrek, Evolution, Simpsons season 1, Toy Story box set.

I have to admit, I was shocked, the picture qaulity on all discs are phenomenal (maybe not the Simpsons, but even that is still far superior to vhs) the sound is great as well. Just thought I would ask does anyone else have any of these titles.

Well I wasn't content with the kiddies so I went out and got T1 AND T2, CT Hidden Dragon, Gladiator and a cheap classic...........BEETLEJUICE. Although the picture and sound as well as the extras are not very good on this disc the film is top notch.

    So you have discovered DVD

You don't have to be coy about kiddie titles on this forum. I am over 40 years older than you and I have bought Shrek and Evolution which I consider to be wasted on kiddies.

Well, if you want to add more 'kids' flicks to your titles that are also excellent for adults, try Titan AE, and Final Fantasy (see it to believe it)

Have to agree with the Final Fantasy, the animation is so good in parts you cant believe its a toon.

As another one for the old DVD player how about Swordfish, its worth buying just to see the bit aoutside the bank.

Another animation favourite of mine is "Antz"

A computer generated feature from the Dreamworks studio (the people behind Shrek) that is surprizingly "mature" in nature as the voice cast suggests:-

    Woody Allen
    Gene Hackman
    Sharon Stone
    Christofer Walken
    Sylvester Stallone

Great picture and sound plus a good amout of extras (on the region 1 version anyway) makes this a very good package to get for the "kids" ;)

I know, I know. It is the dumbest thing I ever heard but I mistyped it. The real screen name was supposed to be.............M2:JUDGEMENTMAN. Even that is still tacky but I would change it to a better name if I knew how.

And I consider Shrek as a more all round movie although it is in the "KIDS" category

    peace out
